Identify the application. Then qualify the company.
An equipment-family search can return a detailed application or broad spare-parts wording. Read both the national HS classification and the product description before treating a company as a prospect.
Two records. Different research uses.

From a product specification to a trading relationship.
The Belarus bills sample describes control units for water and foam fire-extinguishing systems. It links the consignee, shipper and producer without providing shipment quantity or value.
A valve classification with equipment-parts wording.
A query for HS 8481 returned a detail classified as hydraulic or pneumatic transmission valves. Its product text describes spare parts for heavy equipment.
For industrial products, a name and an HS code are only the beginning. Retain the application and unresolved specification questions.
Describe what you supply
Record the equipment application, part type, model or specification you can support. Search by product wording alongside classification; do not assume every item under HS 8481 is a fit.
Resolve the commercial roles
Where available, distinguish consignee, shipper, producer and importer. A trader and a manufacturer may need different conversations.
Check what the record can support
The Belarus bills example provides company and equipment context but no shipment quantity or value. The Burkina Faso detail provides amounts and weight fields, but not an exact part number.
Prepare a specific next question
Confirm product fit, buying responsibility and current requirements through a verified business channel. Repeated trade history can support research, but does not guarantee a new order.
What to confirm before comparing.
Can these examples be compared as valve prices?
No. They refer to different products, versions and dates. The Belarus detail has no quantity or monetary fields. The Burkina Faso amount is a declared value, not a unit quotation for a specified valve.
Does the classification identify a compatible replacement part?
No. A category and a general equipment description do not establish dimensions, operating requirements or compatibility. Request a model, part number or relevant specification before making a technical match.
Can I search another equipment family or market?
Prepare a request with your product wording or HS code, target countries and period. These two reviewed examples do not establish coverage for every equipment category or dataset version.
